1-hour walking route: Omicho to Kanazawa Castle

1. Omicho Market: begin near the market entrances and use the visit for local food atmosphere rather than trying to see every aisle.
2. Oyama Shrine: walk approximately 10–15 minutes. The gate combines Japanese, Chinese and European design influences.
3. Kanazawa Castle exterior: continue toward the Gyokuseninmaru side or castle gates, depending on your next destination.

This route works before a train or after hotel check-in. If you truly have only 60 minutes, do not add Kenrokuen: the garden deserves its own visit.
